Hot tapping capabilities include boring bar stroke of over 120 in., up to 1480 psig operating pressure & temperature up to 700 degrees F. Capacities include cutting holes into pipe, tanks or pressurized vessels with no interruption in system function & include angle hot tapping from 1 in. to 24 in. for as much as 45 degrees off perpendicular, blind flange & heavy wall vessel tapping, tapping of cement lined pipe, transite, cast iron, stainless steel & other alloys, plastic & fiberglass & tapping of materials that cannot be welded.

2LBin hottap service saddles provide a quick, dependable means of hot tapping pipe for branch connections of 1/2 inch through 24 inch and bigger sizes upon request. Use of our selection of service saddle eliminate problems common to direct taps, such as leaking threads or split pipe, and reinforces the critical connection. These service saddles are designed for maximum safety and performance. The heavy-duty design of these saddles provides strength and mass for long-term service.
Adding new connections to existing pipelines without interruption of service. Capabilities: 1/2" - 96" on water, gas, steam, air and chemicals. Available for any type of pipe. Complete turnkey service available. IFT specializes in large diameter connections.

Hot Tap
MPRs hot taps allow drilling and cutting into pressurized piping or tanks, and have been used extensively for making branch connections into operating heat exchangers, vessels, columns, tanks, a pipelines. This procedure is completed in a safe, controlled condition and is very cost effective compared to the alternative of a complete shutdown of your system.
Line Stop
MPR can perform a single or double line stop to pipes from 1/2" up to 36" in diameter and enable pipelines and plant piping systems to be isolated for repairs or additions without causing an interruption in service or loss of products. Our line stop services are used in petrochemical plants, refineries, power plants, municipal water districts, hospitals, steel mills, and pipeline operating companies.
